Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Adopted Amendments

TAKE NOTICE of a decision of the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Prescott to adopt By-law 19-2023 on Monday, May 1, 2023, to approve Community Improvement Plan amendments in accordance with the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 Chap. P.13, Sections 17(23) and 28 and pursuant of O. Reg. 543/06.
AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in respect of the By-law by filing with the Clerk of the Corporation of the Town of Prescott no later than Monday, May 22, 2023, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law, the specific part of the proposed Community Improvement Plan Amendment to which the appeal applies, and the reasons in support of the objection.

Community Improvement Plan
Prescott's Community Improvement Plan (CIP) supports projects that revitalize, strengthen and diversify our community. Eligible projects can receive non-repayable funding grants, 0% interest loans and significant tax increment grants, to offset the increased taxes driven by higher property values at project completion.
Prescott's amended CIP program will be accepting applications soon.
