Community Awards

Do you know someone who has made a notable contribution or achievement in the Town of Prescott? 

The Town of Prescott has been recognizing its citizens and volunteers since 2013 with its Citizen and Volunteer Awards, with the addition of a Business of the Year category created in 2019. The annual awards recognize businesses, citizens, and volunteers that make noteworthy contributions to the Town of Prescott.

Nominees do not have to reside in the Town of Prescott but the achievements and contributions must be focused on or in the town.

Nominations will open on Monday, March 13, 2023!

Nominations can be submitted from Monday, March 13, 2023 to Friday, April 14, 2023. Completed nomination packages may be submitted electronically via the forms found below:

Do you know someone who has made a noteworthy contribution to the Town of Prescott? 

Nominated citizens are expected to have displayed a broad range of contribution and achievement in the Town of Prescott, or to have demonstrated commitment to one or more particular causes. Nominees can come from the business world, from volunteers, or from any other civic endeavour which has bettered the community of Prescott. 

Nominators are urged to provide specific examples and details about what the nominee has accomplished. Please list activities and contributions, results, achievements, beneficiaries of the nominee's efforts, honours, awards, and memberships in civic and professional organizations. Letters of recommendation are welcome to be submitted with the nomination form.
