The Prescott Cemetery Board of Management was established by the Council of the Town of Prescott to manage the Prescott Cemetery on behalf of the churches of Prescott and to operate the Prescott Cemetery in accordance with the rules and regulations of the 2012 By-Laws, which may be amended, revised or superseded from time to time in accordance with the provisions of the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act and applicable regulations as approved by the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services.
The Prescott Cemetery Board of Management is composed of a minimum of three members, who are appointed by the Council of the Town of Prescott.
The Prescott Cemetery Board of Management meets twice annually and holds an annual general meeting early in the year at which the annual report is adopted and prices are established for the year.
